Career Tip of the Day
Behavior
We make a mistake by looking for natural signs to tell us where to look for a job, when to invest in a business venture, or how to grow our own business in troubling economic conditions. There is a much better way to ensure success called seed time and harvest. We just have to plant the seed of the Word of God and He will deliver the harvest. We can go into today’s shaky job market confident that we’ll secure great jobs because of the seed we’ve planted. Look at the second verse of this scripture. We are directed to do this every day. Speak the Word, stay busy in all the right actions, and don’t try to guess what activity will ultimately produce the job you seek. God’s pattern has been established and this principle will not fail!
WORDS OF LIFE:
I know God labors with me in my job search and I expect great success.
By faith I receive the promise of a good reward for my actions.
I listen to God because He is my shepherd and my Lord.
Word of the Day
Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they never harvest… Plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you don’t know if profit will come from one activity or another—or maybe both.(NLT)
