What does the world say about the job search process? How do people think about the experience of unemployment? You don’t have to look far to find grim predictions and bad news. But that is not the truth for believers. There are circumstances in the world that are tragic but Christ has overcome the world! He is not affected by unemployment, layoffs or economic bad news of any kind. His ability to provide for us is not limited to any company’s payroll department. We have been set free from this world’s economic system. When we buy into all the negative messages about employment we are playing by the rules of the world. Rather, let’s find out what God promises and play by His rules. Fill your heart and mind with the “new rules of the game.”

• I belong to God’s economy and there is no lack in Him.
• I obey the Law of Love and His blessing is active in every part of my life.
